How do I accept a delivery?

When you're online, available deliveries will appear in your dashboard. Click 'Accept Delivery' on any order you want to take. Once accepted, you'll receive the pickup and delivery addresses, and can start navigating to the restaurant.

How are my earnings calculated?

Your earnings are based on a base pay per delivery plus distance and time. You'll also receive tips from customers. Earnings are calculated in real-time and you can view them in your dashboard. Payouts are processed weekly on Tuesdays.

What if I can't complete a delivery?

If you encounter an issue (restaurant closed, wrong address, etc.), contact support through the app immediately. We'll help resolve the issue and may reassign the delivery. Don't cancel deliveries without contacting support first.

How do I update my payment information?

Go to your Earnings page and click 'Payout Settings'. You can update your payment method, bank account, or payout frequency at any time. Changes take effect for the next payout cycle.

What should I do if a customer isn't available?

Follow the delivery instructions in the app. If the customer isn't available, try calling them. If you can't reach them after 5 minutes, contact support through the app. We'll guide you on next steps, which may include leaving the order in a safe place or returning it to the restaurant.

How do I go offline?

In your dashboard, click the 'Go Offline' button. You'll stop receiving new delivery requests. You can go back online anytime by clicking 'Go Online'. Make sure to complete any active deliveries before going offline.

What if I have a problem with the app?

Try restarting the app first. If the issue persists, check your internet connection and GPS settings. For technical issues, contact support through the app or email drivers@takeaut.com. We typically respond within 2 hours.

Can I deliver in multiple cities?

Yes! You can deliver in any city where takeaut operates. Just make sure you're in the delivery area when you go online. Your earnings and ratings are tracked across all cities.
